Is it feasible to play the Battlegroup games in 28mm? I play Disposable Heroes pretty much exclusively, and I love it. I have always wanted to try Battleground though! I know any game can be played in any scale, just wondering if anyone here plays BG games in 28mm and if they had to change anything to make it fit better so to speak. How fast would a company sized action play out (normally) in BG Overlord? Say, A full infantry company + attachments and maybe a platoon of armor per side. |

No. Totally impossible. Probably the police would get involved. |

We have several people who play Battlegroup in 28mm and dont change anything, our ranges are a bit longer than Bolt Action already so perhaps thats why they didnt change them. A full infantry company and a platoon of armour per side, will take two players the best part of a full evenings gaming to play out I reckon, but I would advise starting out alot smaller till you have experience with the rules, as you should with any new game. And dont worry… The Battlegroup Police are a very friendly bunch. |

Having played BG in both 20mm and 10mm, I reckon it's definitely not scale dependent. I'm contemplating adapting my big collection of 6mm Russians for BG. |

A good choice. Battlegroup is a wonderful set of rules! |

We play it in both 20mm and 28mm and it plays out fine in both. We contemplated changing some of the ranges (for 28mm), but in the end came to the conclusion, that the effect was minimal and just kept them. And everything is fine! |
