Guys,

Has anyone seen any Black Powder units stats and special rules to cover the forces of 1806-7 (Early Prussians, Saxons & Russians; Glory Years French) and 1809 (Middle Austrians & French; various Confederation of the Rhine contingents) Campaigns?

Thanks,

Nick

No, but I'd be most interested to see people's thoughts on the matter myself!

I game the early years quite a bit, and use the vanilla stats on page 127 of the rulebook. However I generate leader ratings based on a chart I found here: runtus.org/page10.htm

I also have a copy of some house rules giving Russian infantry 4 stamina to reflect their doggedness, and 2 shooting to reflect their poor musketry. They also give Russian arty a stamina of 3 to reflect their larger size. I have not used any of these rules, so I cannot vouch for them. And apologies to whoever wrote these house rules, I have no idea now where I got them.

Rating Russians as Stamina 4 Shooting 2 seems to be common.

We recently played 1809 Austrians as Staff Rating 7 generals and Large infantry units who don't get a +1 for shooting with their skirmishers.

Why does BP disregard Austrian skirmishers?
