Finished. Clients pics.

I detailed the interiors, tile and wood floors, furniture, tables, etc. He bought 1/48 and O scale chairs and other furnishings to add.

I think I did pretty good. Need to figure out how to make hinges so the main gate can open (here, the doors stick in the arch via magnets)

I have made hinges using small copper tubes and wires, but was many years ago. Go to your local R/C hobby shop and ask to see the smallest hinges they have for control surfaces. They make some really tiny ones. Should be able to adapt them for your doors.

Another possible solution for door hinges is the tiny hinges sold in the Doll House section at larger hobby shops and sometimes at Michael's or Joann's Fabrics, also available online at eBay or specialty dollhouse websites.

Matakishi uses clear plastic for door bases. Stand them in place when shut, move to right angle position when open, or just remove to get out of the way.
