Matt Hay contacted me to send me some shots of the game his group ran at the fantastic Bovington Tank Museum over the week end (you can't easily beat a shot of a tank game with a King Tiger in the background!).

I put some shots from Matt's camera (ok his phone!) up on a page of the Slammers site here link

There are some selected pictures there and a description of the scenario for the day but more shots can be had from his photo bucket which is linked from the page I've just built.

Thanks for the details Matt!

That Panther(?) at the back is a touch out of scale with the terrain…

One of these days I will play Hammer's Slammers. It looks like a ton of fun. I need to collect some more buildings and other ephemera to make the table the way I want it. Are the models 15 mm or larger? The Klongs Tiger is of course 1 to 1 scale. grin

Leland – sadly I wasn't at Bovington this year but did attend last year: 2015 was just Matt and his group.

Same weekend this year I was running the Warrior Slammers game

@ kallman – these are 1/100th (15mm) models: I've pretty much stopped playing the game in 28mm

I know the King Tiger is a bit out of scale but it sure makes a cracking background to gaming ;)

Roll on to next year :)

Maybe John can pull himself away from his own game to roll some bones ;)

Cheers Matt
