As a bit of a silly diversion, my self and fellow blogger Jez "Carrion Crow", have decided to make july "He-Month" where we hope to complete at least a couple of characters from the famous "Masters of the Universe" toy and TV range.

You can keep up with our respective progress here….

and of course it's not to late to join in! you would be most welcome.

Of course, Roger being the master of the sculpting tool, will be working from bare dollies, whereas I will be converting figures I have lying around.

The result will probably be that Roger's will be more true to origin, whereas mine you can consider a "re-imagining" of the source material…

Or closer to the truth, mine will be covered with blobs and "sausages" of green stuff whereas yours will look like someone who knows what their doing sculpted them.

I think the only way I could ever call myself the "master" would be to start only wearing black and to grow a goatee beard!

Cheers Roger.

Both Roger and myself have posted updates on this project, which can be found here:

As you'll note from the previous comments on this thread, I think I hit the nail on the head with our respective outputs.

When you next see Roger, he will be sporting a Nehru jacket, goatee and hypnotising the weak-willed for his next insidious plan…

"Roger is the Master, You WILL obey him…"
