Well..here he is, the free figure came with the WD yesterday:
I'm still not 100% convinced of the Space Marine look but I surely enjoyed painting him. I've had the chance to see all the figures in the starter box assembled and in their sprues and I got to say they are quality.
So I guess I'll give them a go and will find out over time whether or not I will get hooked.. Cheers SP |

I think the space marine look is fine. This is essentially Warhammer 2K, or whatever that date is so they look appropriate to me. The emperor reborn and is now making elite warriors. |

I didn't like the ones on GW's website, painted all gloriously immaculate and what not; this one is fantastic! This figure here makes me want to buy some of my own (after having been away from Warhammer for the past 15 years.) And calling it Warhammer 2k actaully helps me accept the shift in GW's fantasy style. Definitely a new look for a new era. I approve. |
