To those of you who have requested my little rules, one thing got left out: Any unit that is on a bridge "holds" the bridge, and an enemy cannot cross until that unit leaves the bridge (whether by orders, or being eliminated or forced to withdraw). If a unit on a bridge is engaged by an enemy unit, no unit of either side may cross the bridge, regardless of the size of the units on the bridge. A unit may enter a bridge to engage an occupying enemy, but cannot cross until the enemy is removed. This makes bridges even more interesting, which was my intent. If you don't know what Redcoats & Minutemen is, send me an "electronic postal dispatch" addressed to my member name, with the @ sign and AOL dot com attached. (And if you can't figure that out, well at least you're in an 18th century mindset!) |
