The subject of the contest for July 2015 will be Renaissance scenario design! (Note that TMP defines Renaissance as being 1400 to 1700.)

The Rules

1. Provide a complete Renaissance-era scenario, including map(s) and orders of battle.

2. You must not have previously published this scenario.

3. The scenario must be substantially your own work.

How to Submit

You submit your item by posting it in a new topic to the TMP Contests board. It must not be posted elsewhere on TMP.

See the TMP FAQ for information about posting pictures on TMP. Please do not post more than 10 pictures.

This scenario should be exclusive to TMP for the month of the contest – do not post it to other websites or blogs.

Again, see the TMP FAQ for information on formatting your text.

The date of your entry must be within the month of July, as determined by the date posted by our server on the forum.

What Happens Next?

The editors will "harvest" your entry and relocate it to the TMP Profiles section as an article. Photos larger than 550 pixels by 450 pixels will be resized.

After the end of the month of July, and after all entries have been harvested and reposted as TMP Profile articles, the editors will schedule a community poll to determine the contest winners. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. See the general contest rules for more information about prizes.

Hi, just to clarify: Should the scenario be bound to a specific rule system? I was thinking of a SoBaH Skirmish scenario or should it be more general and useable with a variety of rule systems?

No requirement for it to be bound to a specific ruleset.

Does "Renaissance" also mean it must be in Europe? Or is any conflict anywhere in the world between 1400-1700 AD acceptable?

anywhere in the world

Dammit, and I had an entry just about ready. Alas "real life" meant I had to take my eye off the ball :(

Thought about submitting a scenario for the battle before Neuss between Charles the Bold and the Imperial relieve force under Friedrich (for Impetus), but work did not leave sufficient time to put it up to standards.

Well…
