There is a saying atributed to the citizens of Hagenau during the 1630s, which mentions some TYW coat colors ( link ). Would all those be swediah coat colors, or would wother the blue or red coats refer to the imperialists, or otger German armies of the war?

I'd check to see the exact wording of the orginal German source quoted by Wedgewood (who is the source for the book you link to) as well as try to find out the date of the quote. The quote is a bit too neat and well formulated for my taste.

Swedes did not operate across the Rhine much to begin with and 1631-1632 excursions were very limited. And there is of course only one recorded yellow coated regiment in the Swedish army, the Hovregiment which were household troops and to my knowledge never in that area as part of a Swedish army.

When the former Yellow regiment went with Weimarians into French service there is some evidence that there was some effort to keep it in yellow coats to maintain it's lineage but hard evidence is scarce. However the Weimarians did operate extensivly in that area.
