Now that the HMGS (East) election is over, all eyes turn toward the list of vendors and Wally's Basement (also known as the flea market) for Historicon in a few weeks. What is on your shopping list, either as a buyer or seller, in the vendor hall or the flea market? I am spending part of my holiday weekend putting together items for sale in the flea market. When I have an inventory, I'll post a list. So far, plenty of unpainted Artizan figures for the SAGA crowd. Bowman, if you are reading this, I'll give you first crack. Hope to see you there. |

Buy? Everything! (well, really terrain and painted figures). Probably a good thing I won't be there |
Hal Thinglum | 03 Jul 2015 3:31 p.m. PST |
I will be there Friday 10-2:00 with a table. Putting things together, but will be bringing 2500 or so painted 20mm FPW (B&B Miniatures), an unknown number of metal 20mm ACW painted, 2' x 2' terrain squares by the Terrain Guy ($10/square), and odds and ends. Would consider trading for painted armies of 20mm WWII for Rapid Fire (prefer Eastern Front) and/or 28mm Spanish Civil War. I will break up the FPW and ACW if the right deal is there. I do have a question. I have registered for Historicon and signed up for a table. However, I have not heard any confirmation as of yet. Also, will I be able to drive up close and unload my flea market items? |
HMS Exeter | 03 Jul 2015 3:50 p.m. PST |
If the flea market is where it was last year, it will be at the rear of the gaming area. There is a rear door that is very convenient. The only drawback is that the roadway in the rear is just a narrow serviceway only about 2 cars wide, so if everyone tries to use it at the same time it could clog up. I saw a lot of people loading in the front using those flatbed convertible hand trucks. FWIW |

I'll be on the hunt for 20mm WW2 and 28mm post-apoc, and bringing some 15mm WW2, 15mm sci-fi, and some WH40k stuff I no longer use. ~iPaint |

I'll be selling off my extra sets of these stone and split rail fence for $12 USD USD each. link Plus my old Dwarven Forge Sci-Fi room and corridor sets. I just have to clear out the clutter. Matthew |
Ember52 | 03 Jul 2015 5:27 p.m. PST |
Hal, I do the online registration. After registering, I printed out a detailed receipt. I also received a brief e-mail confirmation (no detail, just registration # and such). As far as I know, there is no other confirmation. If you used the mail-in form to register, I'm not sure how that is confirmed. If you're concerned, you might want to touch base with Mike Fijalka, the Historicon Registration Manager. Good luck, Scott |

OFM and rmaker -- I'll give him $25. USD I was hoping to get some 1/200 airplanes from AIM but they're not attending. Only 62 dealers listed. Another low turnout. Really 58 because And 4 of those are CostCo and… Adventure Brewing Co. A. Smith Bowman Distillery Blue & Grey Brewing Co. Hope they're giving out samples. |

This collection includes a couple of beautiful diorama pieces including a very custom dead Mumak that would look great on the table. Good prices on a lot of troops. I will also have a Herb Gundt created model of McPherson's barn (of Gettysburg fame) that he did as a custom model for 25/28 mm figures. With removable roof! Great for skirmish activities. |

JeffGrein | 13 Jul 2015 9:56 a.m. PST |
(Sir Mumsy) Yes and no. It is not the special piece they made for the retail stores. It is a kit bashed piece using an actual mumak model. So, yes it is made by GW. link |

I may post a quick follow up if I dig up anything else to bring. |
