Looks good so far. 1/35 scale?

Zeelow03 Jul 2015 7:40 a.m. PST

thumbs up !

Looks great!

Only recommendation would be to paint the interior of the open hatch off-white or light grey -- probably could be done by light dry-brushing.

Cheers Guys! When the Horses are painted I will update (First time painting horses, very hard).

Jeigheff yes it is 1/35 scale.

dBerczerk, ok I can do that, I suppose the hatch would be part of the interior and therefore would be the appropriate colour, I didn't think of this. I have already varnished it, would painting over that cause any problems?

Redroom03 Jul 2015 3:06 p.m. PST

looking really good

Swastakowey -- leave the inside of the hatch "as is."

No sense causing problems with an otherwise impeccably built and painted model!

Cheers mate.

I will definitely remember that advice for the next model though. At the end of the day it's the small details that count.

Fuji? I take it the hiragana on the right side is written in reverse…

You can paint over varnish with no problem.

Yes the Decals are correctly orientated (I think). The link has pics of both sides shown.

Ok I might go back over that hatch with a grey colour later in that case.
