Ok. This might sound a bit dumb to some of you guys. I figured this is the place to ask though.

I am looking for both male and female figures in plain kimonos holding katanas. Nothing fancy, just a plain old kimono/robe and a katana. Noticeably male and female preferably.

I would prefer 28mm if possible. Thanks for any help!

I'm also looking for figures to represent Hollows. Any help there would be cool too. Hollows are basically demons/monsters with holes where their hearts used to be. They have uniquely shaped white masks.

Museum Miniatures has what your looking for,
but AW Miniatures is now manufacturing and distributing the 28mm range for museum.
There is a link on the Museum page that will take you to AW miniatures page

There is a new kickstarter on Indiegogo that might be of interest to you, Ethan. It looks as if the figures are coming out this autumn?

Northstar also has a pack of kimono clad figures that would fit nicely, though all male, and largely intended to represent the seven samurai:

Perry Miniatures has a very nice set SAM43 with male Samurai in everyday clothing wielding katana

Black hat has some Kimono figures

For the males, I think Perry are the best

Females there are not so many, I went with museum

If you find any of the hollow ones I want to know. I didn't realise what a rick source Japanese legends are

Good luck

I forgot, the best female Kimono wearing Samurai figure I know is this one:

I painted one myself, it is marvellous (the figure not my painting).

From Hasselfree misplaced at their modern martial artists range, but a historical looking figure.

I sometimes read the NSFW board for the sarcastic comments.

This is a nice figure, ruined by the bizarre sword hilts.

On second thoughts, it is very nice. Perhaps I will have to get one after I finish painting all the …. oh well never mind

Nothing wrong with the sword hilts from what I see, except they are a bit thick, but that can be because it is a female using a man's DaiSho.

Worse case, you can do some head swaps and put female heads on street samurai bodies.

I'd also start with Perry.

Samurai swords are always too chunky in metal – of course my complaint may be due to a funky camera angle

ITs a fair complaint Webster. Samurai Swords often are too thick in metal. Steel Fist and Perry are probably the best for that though because they are metal while still being pretty small and not being too weak.

The WGF samurai have blades that are pretty accurately thin but way too fragile.
