Some WIP, WH40K vehicles on my blog. Currently working on a Deathwing Land Raider and a second Bane Blade for my Deathwing army. I now have 4 Land Raiders, 2 Bane Blades, 45 Terminators, 6 Dark Angel Scouts, and a venerable dreadnought. That's about $1,100.00 USD in product!

But I haven't bought any new GW stuff in over a year. I can't afford anymore. I used credit from a local gaming auction to pay for the Bane Blade kit and I traded a 42 figure 25mm British Colonial infantry company for the Land Raider kit from a friend who's collecting 25mm Ral Partha figures.

I need to come up with some money and buy copies of the new codexes (Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Khorne World Eaters, Khorne Daemonkin, and a new Apocalypse rules set). That's enough to nuke my gaming spending for the next six months… Ugh.

Sorry for your predicament. GW is becoming a rich man's hobby unless you're patient enough to spread out your purchases. Don't buy everything you need at once.

Or you can do what many on TMP have done, quit the GW hobby altogether.

Nice work btw.

Or you can have a loving wife who buys you a Riptide kit for your birthday

Nice looking vehicles

I bought my Baneblade cheap from a buddy who was giving up 40K – I scored a Shadowsword the same way

Blake keep an eye on the secondary and terciary markets like e-bay and also check some of the Facebook site that cater to 40K.

The consignment case of my FLGS is also a virtual bargain bin of 40K and Fantasy items. However, current codexes are harder to come by at discount.

Six months more like 12 months.

That is a lot of money.
