From the 1950's B movie classic Invasion of the Saucermen.

Not sure why I cannot get an image to show up. I follow the TMP FAQ but I still only get the link showing. Help

Well, at least the link works! grin

And no, I don't know anyone who makes anything even similiar.

kallman02 Jul 2015 6:44 p.m. PST

Ah, figured it out, had to some coding gymnastics to get it to work.

These look pretty close, certainly inspired by those -

Brigade had a really cool line of aliens similar to those that don't seem to be on the web site any more (unless I am missing them, which is MORE than possible).

makes me think of these:

CP Models
Insectoid heads

if you're willing to do some conversion work

Naz I was looking for the Brigade models but had the same issue of not finding them on the site. When you are up at H-Con would ask Lon about them. I have an odd yearning to do some 1950s type Pulp games with all the red scare hysteria.

kallman02 Jul 2015 7:39 p.m. PST

Those GZG models look pretty close to the mark. Nnascati while yes the Mars Attacks figures are clearly a close cousin they are not what I am looking for per se but might end up doing as an instead of. TNE2300 the head swaps look pretty darn close. Hmmm…

ArmymenRGreat03 Jul 2015 6:13 a.m. PST

Is it my phone or are the GZG pictures really bad?

kallman03 Jul 2015 8:22 a.m. PST

No, it is not your phone ArmymenRGreat. The pictures are just bad.

Have you looked at Crossover Miniatures Greys: link

Admittedly not wrinkly/veiny but pain work might change that.

His Kickstarter has finished, so should be selling them in store soon, can always ask if willing to sell before in store.

MMG.
