I am working my way through the book. I'm not that far into it, but I agree that format and editing are a problem. |

I would recommend that you put some figures (or markers) on the table top as you read through the rules and try out each bit. I rad through the rules once and was confused; I put out figures, walked through them again moving the figures and running through each section as if it was a game and it all fell into place. |

I'm quite tempted by these, but I'm planning to multibase my upcoming AWI armies – is it still playable with casualty markers? |

I see no reason why they can't be. You only need to be able to track how many figures punt towards combat dice. |
