Hullo, I made a timelapse video of our last Longstreet campaign game. See a battle plan unfold and implode in four minutes! At our club website link Cheers, Aksu |

How long did your campaign take to play? |

Thanks for the comments. We had the first games in October last year. As we have a very leisurely pace at our club anyway, it took a while to finish. For the first few rounds we had a fifth Union player and a NPC reb, but the player did not enjoy the rules and we continued with only four players who had good fun throughout the nine battle rounds. Two of the games were 2 vs 2, the rest were 1 vs 1. The video does suffer from two problems, the first being the text flashing by far too quickly. The other is that I set my camera to take pics for several hours, but of course the battle took longer. So of course it stopped JUST before we shook hands. Note to self – next time set the camera for manual stop. And I'm the foreground Union general Giraud, and looking at my attack I can just wonder what on earth I was thinking with that deployment :) Cheers, Aksu |

Obviously they didn't mark my Applebaum's name since at the end I was, fittingly, tied for Epic Points in the last place with Aksu. Before this last battle I did have the best quality of troops and also the highest point value, but some of my Eager Veterans decided to become Seasoned (one the previously only Seasoned Vets became Cautious). Fun game system with AWESOME campaign engine. Looking forward to changing sides with the next campaign.
Nice to see someone got the Applebaum reference! :D Lönkka/Applebaum |
