Here is a link to the AAR writeup of the last play test game. I'll be in Sacramento on July 31, at Pacificon over Labor Day weekend and San Jose in August. Link: link It's still a WIP but the play testers have been very helpful. It really makes a lot of difference having another person experience and play the game from a different viewpoint than the designer. I'm trying to revise the system and mechanics to satisfy the expectations of the players rather than forcing them into my idea of the game. Wolfhag |

Sounds very interesting. When are you coming east? <g> |

Schogun, No plans for East coast for now. After Pacificon I'll decide if it will be worthwhile putting on Kickstarter or not. I do have a company interested in publishing it as a board game. I'm not hooked up with any miniatures company. I developed the game using real life measurements in meters. On an 8 foot table we use 1 inch = 25 meters which works pretty well for tank battles using micro armor or 1/144 scale. We've done tank/infantry battles in 1/72 and 28mm but an 8 foot table realistically represents 250-400 meters. That works well for a scenario with a final assault on a town defended by infantry and at guns being assaulted by infantry and tanks/assault guns. I doubt if it would be good for points based tournaments. I'll soon be looking for play testers in northern California or virtually over VASSAL. We could also use teams to put on games at conventions on the east coast, UK and Canada too. Wolfhag |
