Please, Please, Please give permission to have it printed. Otherwise, Staples is going to refuse. I am looking dead at you David Manley, Long Face Games, Steamer Wars! Really, all I can print is the Turning Circle? Really? The same stuff with Agema's Challenge and Reply II rules. Come on guys, if you are not going to give permission to have it printed and bound, at least sell hard copies of the rules. In a perfect world the gangs would run back ally printing shops for copyrighted PDF rules. Rant Off.

At the very least, place a blurb in the description with a statement saying we will not have permission to have it printed.

I always tell them I am one of the developers, and am partial owner of the copyright. They can look on the "Acknowledgements" page if they like. No one has ever looked.

Grammar Fascism: "If you're going to sell your rules…"

And now back to our regularly scheduled thread.

Ummm….I print mine from a flash drive at the self-service station then take it up to the counter for binding…never had an issue

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I hadn't realised it was an issue – the file has been updated and (hopefully) is being uploaded as I type. I think the WV system notifies purchasers that an updated file is available for download.

What EC said. I print it at a self serve unit, punch it and put it in a three ring binder.

All being well I will have the same clause added to an updated PDF of River Wars this evening, and I've updated my templates so that my futur epublications have this as standard.

Kudos to David after a rather rough start to the thread.

Thank you all for your reply's. Especially David Manley and the extra efforts you put into fixing the issue. I was a little frustrated when I started this thread, and I imagine it showed. I apologize. I am glad I did not have to resort to the Tong run back ally printer, and chance a run in with the Library of Congress' Copy Infringement SWAT Team at 3AM.

David Manley01 Jul 2015 9:48 a.m. PST

Frustration entirely understood. Its not an issue I have ever come across myself as i print my PDFs locally and have never needed to use a print shop. I can perfectly understand why it would be a problem.
