I've read them. When I need to refresh my memory on a specific rule, I consult them. Rick |

No clue where they might be found or how they read. |

I am filial with them and know where to look. I know enough to make a lawyer-ish declaration that the OFM and are legal. |

I've read them, but follow my own rule. Be nice. If I think what I have to say would get me into trouble, I don't say it. |

I live my life online the same way I do offline: by my own standards. Sure, there are rules here on TMP and laws in the society around me, but I let my conscience and my faith guide me. |

I stopped buying them when TMP released the 3.2 version rules. I still play 3.0, exclusively. Besides the nerfing of my favourite units, I just don't have the time to rebase everything in my inventory. Also, I reread every TOS/rules/standards for groups in which I participate at least once a year and as required. |

Rules? There are rules?….…..my pal jdpintex told me there weren't any…… 87)) BTW my only dawghousing (a decade ago) occurred when I broke a rule inadvertently. I thought I was being funny but it crossed a boundary, clearly indicated in the TMP rules. C'est la Vie. |

I've read them. I've also been warned by Bill when my humor crossed the TMP line. I took that to heart. |

Does the TMP Forum really rule, or is it one amongst many? Where's the data to support this claim? |
ochoin | 01 Jul 2015 2:38 a.m. PST |
There *are* other forums, Mako. Some quite viable & several pleasant. But none have the scope, traffic & membership of TMP, like it or not. So, yes. TMP rules. |

How familiar are you with the rules for the TMP forum? TMP link* I have them memorized * I've read them * I think I know what they are * I have no idea etc. I am very familiar with them, but because their enforcement is inconsistent being familiar with them is of no use whatsoever. |

I've read them. They tell me I can't be unpleasant to everyone, I can't pick on people and I can't steal candy from a baby. Who'd have thunk it ? Maybe TMP should adopt a motto which emodies the spirit of the rules. I suggest: "The Miniature Page : Share what you know and play nice". |
Martin Rapier | 01 Jul 2015 5:22 a.m. PST |
I have read them. The layout is such that it is hard to memorise them though. They remind me of some sets of wargames rules… Perhaps a QRS would be in order. |
Ed Mohrmann | 01 Jul 2015 5:32 a.m. PST |
I have read them – many times. However, I follow my own rule: 'Engage common sense and civility prior to entering typing mode' Only ever been DH'd once, long ago. Misinterpreted the 'current affairs' definition |

No idea – but I know not to be rude, offensive or slander anyone or their product and that seems to have kept me on the straight and narrow for 12 years here. |
Ratbone | 01 Jul 2015 7:06 p.m. PST |
I behave in a way that allows me to not need to know the rules. Even for others, as if I might find myself outraged at their behavior, I simply vote with my mouse by clicking away and reading elsewhere. Thus, I never really need to know the rules. |
Winston Smith | 01 Jul 2015 7:17 p.m. PST |
I am so aware if the rules that I know that every time I go to the DH I deserve it. I am never surprised when the Paddy Wagon comes for me. |
Doctor X | 01 Jul 2015 8:41 p.m. PST |
Read them maybe 17+ years ago when I joined. Can't remember them. Now I just use common sense as my guide. |
CeruLucifus | 01 Jul 2015 9:59 p.m. PST |
Generally I join a forum, and try to use common sense, good manners, accurate writing (punctuation, spelling, grammar). Then after a while I get curious and read the rules. Usually turns out I'm 100% compliant in spirit, and perhaps 97% in practice. So to answer the poll, both "I've read them" and "I think I know what they are". |
jambo1 | 02 Jul 2015 1:46 a.m. PST |
I have read the rules when I joined and they are what I would expect when on a forum, doesn't take much to follow rules and guidelines although I know people can get passionate about certain topics, it is to be expected I guess. |
