The latest sculpt from Steve Barber. It represents A Volunteer Infantryman of The Polish Army 1831 10th-24th Regiments . Information came from a booklet from The Continetal Wars Society on The Polish Army of The Congress Kingdom.

I try and cross ref all illustrations to ensure that the right flavour is maintained, and Steve Barber is an excellent sculptor. The main info in the booklet comes from illustrations produced in the 1840s and are considered to be the most accurate reflection of the uniforms of the period. Steve and I try and make sure the sculpts echo the ref pictures. Sometimes it is necessary to check some of the detailing such as cap peaks, equipment arrangements but again alterations are not made unless we can verify the information in more than three sources.
