I probably asked this before, but gun carriage colors for the French. I'm assuming the Imperialists were supplied by the French. Any ideas of the Republicans aside from unpainted wood? Andrew |

The French had green carriages with black fittings so the Imperials probably had the same. The Republicans imported some US ordnance with the same color scheme. They probably also used unpainted wood. |

Light grey with black fittings, wood color with black fitting and, as Doc Ord mentions, Republicans used a lot of imported US army artillery. |
