Thanks for the link, luckily my brother owns a M-1 Carbine and I got to shoot one, along with a M-1 Garand. I loved shooting the Carbine. |

Fired both the cCarbine and the Garand, also used the carbine on a hunting trip once. I'd pass on the carbine – too light and no stopping power. |

Both are fun to shoot… But the carbine is hard to beat for plinking… And the list of manufacturerscis fun too… Who wouldn't like a rifle marked "rockola"… |

I was only shooting at paper targets, and agreeing with jgibbons both were fun to shoot, but I'd rather have a Carbine |

Through WWII re-enacting and the CAF I've meet a lot of veterans and I've never meet one who would give a lick for the M1 Carbine in combat. |
