I gotta say they're awesome. Anyone know if we'll be seeing male counterparts? |

Ready willing and able for these |

I'm still awaiting the Stygians topad out the ranks of my 15mm Corsair Eldar, and some of those lovely OTC as 15s… ;) Might spring for a Virtus squad or two, though. |

I bought the Themis squad, they are exactly 15mm. About the height of a young teen. Amazing sculpts and very tiny. I'll be using them as low-profile replicants/clones. |
Onslaught Miniatures | 29 Jun 2015 1:37 p.m. PST |
Hey Gnubrid – I'm glad you dig your Themis squad! So they are pretty small next to some of your other 15s? Could I bother you for a pic maybe? |
Redroom | 29 Jun 2015 4:50 p.m. PST |
I picked up the pre-order 15mm along with a Kappa Sentry Rig to use as bots. Very nice sculpts, only one figure had minor flash. I will try to post some pics too. |
MrHarold | 29 Jun 2015 8:58 p.m. PST |
Onslaught Miniatures: Generally most of the 15mm figures out there are actually 15mm to the eyes. |

Great comparison picture! |

Thanks, I am a big fan of the foldio light box, used an additional LED flash light in the top pic. |

I love the look and detail on the Onslaught Miniatures miniatures. But I think the Themis miniatures are to small to work with my other 15mm humans even with their very thick bases adding some extra height to them. A shame as I really wanted to get an army of them. |

Thank u for posting this comp shot |
Jimboba | 01 Jul 2015 6:52 a.m. PST |
Hmm. That's a fair chunky base on there and they still look like adolescents… Is there a back story that describes them as some kind of generation-survivors from a forgotten colony or something? Manga 'chicks'? Apart from that they look great. |

Question for Onslaught Miniatures. If you are asking for scale comparison shots alongside mainstream scale convention miniatures, does this mean you are considering up-scaling your miniatures to suit? If YES, then the reaction is GREAT! And the next question would be WHEN? (us gamers are an impatient and greedy bunch…) |
Onslaught Miniatures | 07 Jul 2015 10:01 a.m. PST |
Yeah it looks like I may need to consider upping the scale a bit. The Sisters were supposed to be a little shorter than your average male – but those shots make them look tiny. It also looks like 15mm is scale is all over the map! My models are 15mm from bottom of foot to top of head almost exactly. Those other models look like 17-20mm from foot to top of head or even taller… I want my range to fit in with as many ranges as possible, so I need to find a nice balance. |
Mute Bystander | 07 Jul 2015 11:22 a.m. PST |
They look very good to me at the current size. I would use them as shorter humanoid aliens myself. I have lost of 15/18mm figures and in SF/Fantasy I don't let height/heft differences stop me from using them. A Force Blade or Light Saber equalizes the size issue in HTH and Samuel Colt settled the equality issue in missile weapons – "Abe Lincoln may have freed all men, but Sam Colt made them equal" If you size them up I will probably buy them anyway. |
Twoball Cane | 07 Jul 2015 3:59 p.m. PST |
Mr onslaught sir I am pleased as punch you are delving into 15mm. Seems there is a scale creep for the last few years in 15mm and humanoids seem more 17mm…..I'm sure this topic could get ugly w nerdgasmesque responses about how to measure. My like/dislike:::: (first your minis are stunning) the guns are nice and big so one can spot from standing height, the bases thicker than I like(( I mount my figs on 20mm round discs others use pennies etc, the base will be too thick for basing unless I file them down)). Scifi is more forgiving as others have said… Overall I do appreciate your thoughts on increasing the human figs very much a few mm (2-3) will be awesome….I will buy ur stuff like stink on a skunk! |
KJdidit | 07 Jul 2015 4:23 p.m. PST |
An observation – most minis measure the scale (15mm, in this case) from the sole of the figure's foot to its eye level, not to the top of its head. I'd also suggest reducing the thickness and diameter of the bases on the figures; they don't really need to be proportionally increased to fit into a proportionately larger Epic-style base. ;) |
Rusty Cyborg | 08 Jul 2015 4:21 a.m. PST |
I really like the aesthetics of your miniatures so I'm very pleased to hear that you are considering upping the size a bit. I think an extra 2-3mm on the sisters would be perfect. I also agree with the above suggestion about reducing the thickness and diameter of the bases. |
Onslaught Miniatures | 08 Jul 2015 7:35 a.m. PST |
I will likely up the scale a bit on future releases. The biggest issue seems to be the base. The goal was to create a base that would work as-is, and wouldn't require re-basing. It seems that most players like to use their own bases instead, so I will make them thinner, and smaller to accommodate this. I appreciate the feedback everyone. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. |

Slapped around, and replies with 'Please sir, may I have another…' ;->= I'm impressed. Will definitely give a look. So much of my older stuff has succumbed to scale creep, and giving them some 'new life' by new opponents may demand I buy before you switch them out. Thanks! Doug |
Gnubrid | 08 Jul 2015 12:12 p.m. PST |
It really makes no difference to me, as I said, I was going to use them as clone/replicants that were designed smaller to make use of cover and lull the opposition into underestimating them. Rebel's Sons of Thunder are smaller than my old Heavy Gear infantry and I will probably use them as well. |
Jimboba | 13 Jul 2015 9:54 a.m. PST |
Hi Onslaught Games – ditto TheBeast's Kudos to you – very good of you to both ask the question and listen with hopefully a view of up-scaling a little bit. With respect to scale creep, when the market majority jump on board and it becomes the 'norm' then it becomes the 'norm'. Of the several hundred (nay, thousands of sci fi, fantasy and historical) 15mm I own, very few from the last 10years+ are 'true' 15mm any more. As to scale-police – I'm not inclined towards it personally. However, your characters are clearly humanoid in origin and it won't suit every potential customer to treat them as a dwarf-like race. I would want them to integrate with my existing human forces as 'elites' because they are so cool – and elites, if anything, would be bigger or the same size at least… Thanks for listening and for 'considering' the question. Just don't want you to think we are all a bunch of spoilt brats. |
Onslaught Miniatures | 15 Jul 2015 12:12 p.m. PST |
Not at all – I've always made it a priority to listen to the input from my customers and allow their input to shape Onslaught's miniature lines. I'll keep you all posted. |
Onslaught Miniatures | 17 Jul 2015 10:35 p.m. PST |
Here's a preview of what I have in mind for the 15mm lines:
I'm upscaling the models so that 15mm falls right at eye level, which makes the model right around 17mm from bottom of foot to top of head. I'm also reducing the thickness of the base, and making it just big enough to surround the characters feet, rather than perfectly round and uniform.
What do you guys think? |
MrHarold | 18 Jul 2015 7:57 a.m. PST |
I'd say that rescale is perfect! |
AVAMANGO | 18 Jul 2015 9:47 a.m. PST |
The newly proposed 17mm height will bring your figures in line with most other manufacturers and as most 15mm gamer's usually mix and match their miniatures from all over the place the new 17mm scale will be more flexible to be used with other companies products and i think would be appreciated by most 15mm gamers. :) Zac |

Very nice! I've been holding out for the Hellborn line to be released, but might now find a reason to pick up some of the Sisterhood models as well. |

I'm posting this just to keep the message current on the list, Is there any news on the upgraded figures appearing sometime soon. |
Twoball Cane | 16 Jun 2016 10:07 a.m. PST |
Melfortuk, thanks for bringing this back… I am waiting as well for the upgraded figs….. I almost was bitten by the 6mm bug though. |

Still waiting patiently for them to make their way into my shopping cart. |

What else is coming to 15mm? |
KJdidit | 18 Jun 2016 7:55 a.m. PST |
Asked the principal of Onslaught about this on the TacComs forums. His reply: As soon as I get the Talos mechs done, I'll be taking time to get the 15mm units in order. Since he's currently working on the Talos (6mm/Epic not-Knights and not-Titans), I'd imagine the 15mm Sisterhood models will be coming in 3-4 months. |

Will the old miniature stock be available? Like the originals but the upgraded size ines look good too! Note: not a fan of the GW look but these are original enough that I find them very tempting! Also waiting patiently… we'll, sort of… |
