Wonderfully imagined and applied. I can see the dilemma with the T sections , I would probable just try them as Small T joints to add to the larger corridor sides. ( obviously hindsight after you did all the work) Thanks for sharing your ideas. They have a great Blakes Seven look about them . |

I would make the joints entirely out of duct tape so they could be laid out at non-right angles. And if you space them out right, and keep teh wall decor thinner, could even fold flat for storage. Or heck, use printed downlaods for the decor…. Still, a very nifty idea. Fast and cheap too! |

I've done duct tape hinges before, with marginal success. You either need to add "feet" (small pieces perpendicular to the wall) or have a good grip surface to put them on (fortunately, that silverware drawer grip stuff makes a good scifi floor). Otherwise, they will bend and fall over a lot when noodged during play. Bracing the corners makes them more stable. |
