I believe that the article says that they are "Les Higgins 30mm" figures . . . and I gather that they are long out-of-production (the authors says they average over 40 years old). -- Jeff

The firing shot and the cavalry are 25mm Hinchliffe. I am still using them and 25mm Minifigs and 25mm Greenwood and Ball, repainted and based meany times. Most of them over are 40 years old, have given me good long service. |

Yes the figs in the shot and cavalry picture ARE Hincliffe but the picture of the other shot unit contains Les Higgins alone. Side by side the firing shot are very similar though the Higgins are finer in detail and were first on the market but marketed as 30mm back in the day when I couldn't afford them – they were 24p when Hincliffe were 7.5p |
