What's the best source for 1/72 plastic figures and kits?

Over the last year or so we've been using more 20mm and 1/72 figures (one of my sons prefers this scale to 15mm) but it always feels like a chore piecing forces together and figuring out what's inside a given box of infantry.

By "best" source I mean "good photos of box contents and comprehensive selection of WWII and modern figures".

michigan toy soldier company has alot in my view, although good photos of box contents I'm not sure about – but then again you can probably locate that from any number of other sources on the internet
you will not find any metal or resin vehicle kits (like MMS or Milicast) or metal figures other than the Fantassin/Warmodelling range.

Best resource on the web for 1/72nd IMHO.

"good photos of box contents and comprehensive selection of WWII and modern figures".

The best source of box contents is just to look them up on Plastic Soldier Review/WWII

Where to buy would be a question for US members, of course …

Phil
EDIT: posted while Grunt1861 was posting wink but same message: I always check PSR re box quantity/mix separately from checking who has which boxes in stock.

Look at pics on PSR. MichToy caries a lot of 1/72 plastics.

I've had very good service from Hobby Bunker and they have a good selection.

Forgot about Hobby Bunker, as well as Minutemen Toy Soldiers. I have purchased from both at shows, but not online. I believe the owner of Minutemen is also a TMP member.

I've ordered from Gerardo at the "Toy Soldier Depot" a number of times, and found his prices and shipping charges to be quite reasonable.

You might try scalehobbyist. They have a pretty good line of all scale figures at a good price.

Thanks all!

I've ordered from MichToy and they're not bad. I guess I should have added one more criteria: a good website! :-) MichToy doesn't let you filter by country so you're stuck wading through lots and lots of listings (but at least you get some filtering ability…some sites just dump ALL 1/72 plastic military figures into one result!)

So far this is my favorite site (you can filter by scale, period, and country) but haven't ordered from them yet:

Does anyone have experience with them?

And I would second Scale Hobbyist…have ordered from them a couple of times. Good service and nice site.

I just search ebay for what I'm looking for and get the best deal. Oddly enough, shipping from the UK can sometimes be cheaper than domestic US postage

Toy Soldier HQ (ToySoldierHQ.com) is a good source for figures. He usually posts pictures of the figures contained in each box as well.
