Hi folks. So a friend and I have embarked on the crazy project of gaming through the Southern Campaign of the Revolution, aiming eventually to achieve 1:1 unit scale. We're a long way away from getting there, but here is my own start to it. This is the majority, but not all, of the 1st Maryland Regiment. Figures are Adler Miniatures.

I've included a fair amount of variation in their uniforms for realism, and right now they are not getting any finishing touches on the bases. Just a simple coat of green. I have a long way to go and pretty bases are going to have to wait.

What rules do you use with 400 figure battalions?

Nice job on the painting.

Very good. Great figures to paint, aren't they?

Thanks very much guys.

79th, they are a home brew set cooked up by my my partner in the project. They have a great deal of detail to them and are definitely not "fast play". But by this time these Maryland line regiments are much reduced in size. They average around 200 men.

The project sounds very interesting. Your figures are lovely.

Wow! Great painting on excellent figures, certainly impressive when you consider they're 6mm figures. Keep us updated on your project

18th man on from the right is wearing buttons that weren't produced until 1789. I only noticed because you painted them so well. ;)

Please keep us updated on this project, it looks great so far.

Great Paint Job! And the Adler figures are excellent! I would to see some British at 1 to 1!
