I managed to get time today to type up my thoughts after having a good read through of Patrol Angis. My feeling about these rules is that they are easy to pick up, but play differently to others in the genre. Here is a link: link Thanks Chris conflictcornucopia.blogspot.co.uk |

I keep looking at this stuff, kind of curious to get into it. But I prefer 28mm and it doesn't look like that is the focus anymore? Damon. |

Thanks! Damon: They do stock a 28mm range, but it seems the focus is more on 15mm with the current batch of releases. I guess you could double the ranges etc and play with 28mm? |

I have the rules and a bunch of figures. I haven't been able to get a game in yet, but the rules look interesting on a read through. Resin movement trays are in the offing for those who are inclined in that direction, but the game can be played with single based figures too. |

@Chris Walkley, In your review you said, Initiative is a d6 roll, but the higher roll determines how many activation tokens are received by each side. The side which loses initiative gets the number shown on the die, the winning side gets that number plus one. So if the initiative roll was 3 and 5, the side which won gets 6 tokens and the side which lost gets 5. Wouldn't the losing side get 3 instead of 5? Or am I missing something? Good solid review! |

Hi Cyrus Pleased you enjoyed the review. Sorry that part was a bit unclear. It is the winning die that is used for both sides. The loser takes a number of tokens equal to the winning roll. The winner takes the same plus 1. It confused me when I first read it as it is counter to our assumptions! But I like it as it gives the winner an additional edge without allowing massive differences like a 1 v 6 die roll, which could hugely unbalance the game. |

This sounds promising and they just released the rules for the Planetary Militia, (my personal favorites) today as well. For FREE even. |

Gavin, is the starter set going to be available from Noble Knight at some point? Or should I just order it direct from you (to the USA)? |
Gavin Syme GBS | 29 Jun 2015 9:28 a.m. PST |
We are sending stock to Noble Knight in big batches. It will be a while but they do have Patrol Angis on order. If you are happy to wait then go to NKG and register your interest and if not then come to us directly here in the UK. GBS theionage.com |
