I have never seen these in 28mm, only in Micro scale from GHQ……or in the movie Ice Station Zebra : ) |

If it were me, I'd go with Baker Company's excellent Winter War range. Frex: link But the Finns from the same range are largely armed with Moisin-Nagants and DPs for added variety: link . You might be able to use some the Battle Honors Finns as well: link To my eye it's hard to differentiate a Suomi SMG from a PPD -- eh, that's assuming you want early-war Russians. Edit: Fiddlesticks, I see the Russians aren't available until October. You might email them and ask if they have any of their old Finns available. I have a few and they're very nice. |

Battle Honours makes them. I have a pack of them that I've been trying to get rid of (bought some packs thinking I would do a project and never got to it). They are nice figs, but slightly shorter than crusader, artizan, etc. |

Could Brigade Games Finns perhaps be used? They have Mosins and Suomis (very similar looking to the PPSH). Perhaps swap a few heads? |

Also, please forgive my clumsy fingers for typing "how" instead of "who." |
