Ouch, sounds like bad luck for the Germans on both outings :( Sorry you had a bad time. if it's any consolation, crossing that open gap in ASL would probably fare equally poorly :-) |

Bad luck I suppose. Germans only needed not rolling a six for the first two turns to avoid a starlight in the open. |

yeah, sometimes the dice just aren't with you. If you end up repeating the scenario, I might tweak it so no firefights are possible the first two turns, or at least start them on a scurry. |

Start with a scurry is a very good idea, but having so many new scenarios to try I don't think we ever try Velikiye again :) |

yeah, one thing with adapting ASL scenarios is a lot of those assume you will be burning through your troops at a pretty good rate. FiveCore tends to force you to be a bit more economical with the imaginary little guys :-) |
