A topic on the Victorian Science Fiction, and others, about a Kickstarter campaign for fan-made movie set in the Space 1889 universe has reached basic funding, plus one stretch goal.

As the story involves a chase across the solar system, I decided to share the news with who enjoy a romp across space, no matter when.

Of course, I'm already in, but now you can keep your eye out for it getting release. AND, if you decide to pledge to get your own copy, I can warm my hope for an ether-flyer cockpit mockup for the movie.

I have doubts about any spaceship battles, but one can hope.

I am so glad this was funded. I think it is going to be a fun film to watch and they ar starting to hit some stretch goals.

Very cool!

I hope they budgeted enough for the special effects and costumes…

;->=

They're going to try to keep special effects 'in camera', and they're a bunch of LARP'ers, so they've a fair amount of costuming already.

Yep, the first two realized, and with the second, dinosaurs on fetid Azores, er, Venus!

FYI, second goal attained.

Here there be dragons!
