IMHO, the man is a master sculptor with the Midas touch.

I've long been an admirer of his work but looking at the new Iron Duke Miniatures range of Indian Munity sculpts in Google Images and seeing so many photographs of his other ranges of figures was a great moment of personal joy. A small kid in a toy shop with an indulgent father moment.

Simply, Mr Hicks, long may you work your trade and add to your amazing range of fantastic figures.

You know I have absolutely no interest in this period of wargaming…..and I still want to buy some figures, they are amazing!!

My favorites have always been the Perrys but he is their equal if not a bit better. My only complaints are the fragile weaponry. I was cleaning up and basing the 78th Foot last night. Can't wait to paint them. I practically started salivating when I saw that gun and crew.

He is an amazing sculptor, no question. And talk about prolific! My main niggle is I don't like how he does his eyes; pretty small complaint, however.

He did the complete WSS line for Ebor, and an upcoming line of GNW Swedes and Russians. They are my favorite figure line. Superb.

He is a marvel. I am currently enjoying the Napoleonic era Saxons he created for Westfalia. What a great partnership!

He is both prodigious and talented. Power to his elbow.

I like his figures very much too. He once sculpted a head resembling myself .
So I could build a figure resembling me!!
