The crew really bring the model to life. Pity you have to mount it on a SoG base to play the game.

VonTed22 Jun 2015 6:16 a.m. PST

Crew?!

I can only add my applause. Superb. Just superb.

Norrins22 Jun 2015 8:21 a.m. PST

Amazing.

Q1) How the hell did you do the crew?
Q2) How good is your eyesight?

ModelJShip22 Jun 2015 10:44 a.m. PST

Hi all,
thank you for your words!!!

Norris:
Q1: I bought by ebay in this link.
auction

It is about a brass scale of 1/700 to 1/1000 scale but works very well.

Q2: Normal … I'm wearing glasses but I have little myopia ;)

chazman22 Jun 2015 1:43 p.m. PST

amazing …a true testament to patience and a steady hand.

Rockatansky22 Jun 2015 2:41 p.m. PST

i was going to ask how you made the crew until i read the thread. 1:700 looks ok on there but i think on a 1:1200 they would be way too big. its a shame. i was hoping they were scratch made and i was going to steal your ideas haha!

Julian very nice work thanks for the info. They would I think be to big for 1-1200. I'm not the best at I.T. stuff and cannot get photos up on this site. On the last of my Swedish 1-1200 langton ship I manned the yard-arm with the teeth of a hair-roller. It works.
I did some photos on Anchorage and think Vol has some.
By safe

Rory, maybe work well with the largest boats 1/1200. I will do a test to see such.

Julián

Volunteer Fezian23 Jun 2015 6:44 a.m. PST

Very nice Julian. I wonder what the shipping would be like to the US for these figures?

ModelJShip23 Jun 2015 9:14 a.m. PST

Vol Hello, thank you very much!

If you mean the sailors. From Spain cost about 6 euros

18th Century Guy Supporting Member of TMP25 Jun 2015 5:21 p.m. PST

How much for the whole thing?

ModelJShip26 Jun 2015 1:41 a.m. PST

This ship is not for sale. There are a lot of hours of work to be sold. But if you are interested I make conversion of sail of glory but without crew.
Regards,
Julián
