Hi Folks I am travelling across the pond tomorrow to spend a few days in New York (Business sadly) – I am staying in the city and was wondering if there were any shops folks could recommend to visit on Saturday am? cheers Eric the Shed |

Go to Katz Deli and have a corned beef on rye! Best sandwhich in the U.S. (Don't forget the cheese cake for desert!) |

See if the Forbes Museum is open. I believe that the are on 11 th. street. There is a spectacular collection of toy soldiers on display, as well as those Fabrage eggs. I'm not sure if it is stil open, but if it is, it's worth the trip. |

Compleat Strategist is the gaming shop in Manhattan. Board games, lots of Osprey books and fantasy figures. Sadly, Polk's is long gone. |

Sadly, Polk's is long gone. The Soldier Shop as well, I believe (speaking from The Left Coast)? |

Not a wargame shop but if you like SciFi as well then "Forbidden Planet" is a required stop. |
