Hi Folks

I am travelling across the pond tomorrow to spend a few days in New York (Business sadly) – I am staying in the city and was wondering if there were any shops folks could recommend to visit on Saturday am?

cheers

The Compleat Strategist was the best I discovered. In Midtown East.

Go to Katz Deli and have a corned beef on rye! Best sandwhich in the U.S. (Don't forget the cheese cake for desert!)

See if the Forbes Museum is open. I believe that the are on
11 th. street. There is a spectacular collection of toy soldiers on display, as well as those Fabrage eggs.
I'm not sure if it is stil open, but if it is, it's worth the trip.

Compleat Strategist is the gaming shop in Manhattan. Board games, lots of Osprey books and fantasy figures. Sadly, Polk's is long gone.

The Soldier Shop as well, I believe (speaking from The Left Coast)?

Not a wargame shop but if you like SciFi as well then "Forbidden Planet" is a required stop.
