From Rome there are easy train trips to Monte Casino and Anzio.

Prague is awash with museums.

Can't speak for Vienna or Puglia.

I would also like to recommend the HGM in Vienna. They have lots of interesting stuff from 17th century to WWII. If you want to check through it all, then it is worth to reserve a whole day for a visit – though if you are only interested in the WWII section then you probably won't need that much time.

There are also some WWII era flak-bunkers remaining in the city, you might want to take a glance at those though they might look a bit different now than at WWII. And somewhere there is also a massive Red Army monument. And there is another museum at downtown with a display of 15th and 16th century arms and armour.

No idea about the other places on your list, but should you happen to pass by Warsaw or Budapest then those cities also feature nice military museums.

great tips… I have seen pictures of Italian ww2 tanks in Rome but I think it might be at a military barracks not a museum. By the way The best tank museum I have ever been to is in Finland a small town called parola.South Korea has a pretty decentmilitary museum as well
