I am looking for advice on how to package unpainted 15mm figures to send overseas to be painted. I typically ship them in the same plastic bags the vendor used to ship them to me and use packing material to prevent them from jostling around too much. In the past this has gone well enough but a few bayonets always end up being casualties. Does anyone have a reliable method to avoid losing bayonets? |

Use bubble wrap. Lay down a piece of heavy cardboard, then a layer of bubble wrap. Then figures then another layer of bubble wrap. Repeat as needed. Make sure the box is snugly packed so they won't move around in shipment. Better a little too snug than too loose. |

Plastic drinking straws. Cut them a bit longer than the bayone+rifle length. Push the straw over both the rifle and the bayonet. Do the same with swords or anythat sticks up out out. The straw will protect the rifle/bayont from bending or getting crushed. Try it. |

Stick a piece of popcorn packing over the bayonet, then in a baggie or bubble wrap. |

Throw them in a box of puffed rice cereal and send the whole thing. |
