Over the past week TMP has been very, very buggy for me. The MIVA lock file error or whatever it is has prevented me from commenting or starting new threads… Just wondering how the new TMP is coming along? |

I had it happen here last night and all day today, looks like the end is near. TMP 4.0 couldn't arrive and sooner lets hope… |

Obviously, it's the self-destruct-reboot interface enabler getting interference from the LuCerne Super-Collider during lunch hour on Tuesdays. Or somebody leaned against a panel and their butt hit two buttons at once. Better start over. |

If it comes out before I finish writing "TMP: The Musical", I'll have to completely redo the third act. This will throw off the whole structure of the show. For example, right now it's important that the OFM character's principal number "Whispers and Shouts! (And Pianos in the Street)" be the opener for Act 3. If TMP 4 comes out, I'll either have to move it to Act 2 or cut it altogether. And let me tell you, having busted my ass to write a Broadway showstopper in Aeolian mode, I do not want to cut it. So take your time Bill. |

Timeline? There is no timeline. It's about TMP. "History doesn't repeat, but it sometimes rhymes." And in this case, it's melodic too. No, this more about structure. When the audience returns from the Lockfile Timeout after Act 2, I need Act 3 to open with something memorable and Swiftian. And you must have heard something completely unrelated. All the roles, including the chorus, are TMP members. current or former. |
