Am looking to recreate the Russian contingent in Holland in 1799 and have contradictory data on the Jaeger uniforms. The Digby Smith book shows a Potemkin uniform as 1799 but that is surely wrong and a couple of sources show Bagrations Jaeger in Italy in Prussian style uniforms with white breeches. Is this a particular unit or is this universal dress for Jaegers? The white seems wrong somehow?
