Sadly AB don't make them. I need half-a-dozen Portuguese gun crew figures – does anybody make them in 15/18mm? I know Old Glory do but I can't find an image of them and would have to buy a pack of 24 crew plus guns. Ideally I'd want them in stovepipe shakos and did think about just using AB British gun crews and not worrying too much about the differences in uniform but if I can avoid that I'd rather. Thanks in advance. |

The Fantassin range is compatible with AB and is still available from Stonewall. The Portuguese artillerymen are here: link I believe they are now called "Warmodelling" figures and there is a new UK stockist but I bought some from Stonewall a wee while ago and they still had stocks. |

Minifigs does some pretty nice ones, too. |

Do they? Can you give me a code for them as I can't see them listed anywhere in my somewhat old catalogue. 1ngram – thanks – that's another option but ideally I want them in stove pipe shako. |

Timmo, completely understand the desire to get the right figures with the right uniforms. If you can't find them at an adequate quality level, just letting you know, years ago, I used the AB British Gunners and they painted up as Portuguese Gunners just fine. |

Get the Battle Honours set, paint and sell the extra guns and figures. Minifigs don't do them and the Warmodelling aren't available (yet). |

A notorious omission from the AB range , which I really must rectify. No promises for an instant solution, but I will see what can be done. |

Essex Miniatures makes some very nice Portuguese artillery crews and you can purchase them in a package of 8. Stephen |

I've always used the British gunners. The only difference is the flared shoulder-straps, which are easily painted on. |
