Painting some Cold War 1/285 GIs and am looking for a good match. I think V922 uniform green is too bright, almost neon so what looks good at this scale?

Thanks

Were you wanting them to be faded or new issue?

Hadn't really considered that so both would be appreciated.

I generally do faded, as that's how mine looked when I wore them, so I use MM faded olive drab (#2051).

There was nothing better than a faded and heavily starched and pressed pair of fatigues. Although some of the allure was lost when the Army went to the poly blend version.

I loved my fatigues and khakis too. I mourned when a wear-out date for both was announced.
