I came across my Official Duke Seifried Sceno-Square yesterday and I wondered who else might still have one or more. Duke was my terrain guru. He taught me more about terrain making in 3 hours at a 1980's Historicon one day, than I had learned in all my years before that. It was his spectacular F&I War boards that hooked me. I'm praying that Duke is all right. He must be around 90 years old by now. That day at the Lancaster, he was so kind and patient that I never forgot what a gentleman he was. So, do any of you have an autographed Sceno-Squre in it's own custom carrying case? |

What on earth is a Sceno-Square? |

Do you have a picture of it? |

It seems a Scenosquare is an unusual name for a Terrain Board. I too would be interested in seeing any photos of it you have! |

I'm praying that Duke is all right. He must be around 90 years old by now. Apparently he was born ~1935, so he's 80 years old or thereabouts. |

Oh my goodness!! Maybe it's too early for the old timers to check in. |

During the voting in April/May for the 2015 HMGS Scruby Award, as a member of the HMGS Legion of Honor, he posted comments. He is on Facebook facebook.com/duke.seifried So still around luckily. If he is at Historicon this year be sure to introduce yourself and get a photo with him. |

They are/were 2'x2' scenery tiles. They were usually sold for specific battles along with the accompanying figures. |

Duke was at Little Wars running a game this year and I managed to talk with him for awhile and he said he feels great. |
