I saw an episode of The Simpsons recently where Homer helps his mother invade a secret base and fights off the armed troops within, with a cinder block on a length of chain. Of course, I now need this as a figure…

The cinder block and chain I can scratch-build, but can anyone suggest a suitable Homer proxy? I'm ideally looking for a more "realistic" interpretation, rather than an exact match to the cartoon, so it'll fit in with my existing figures. And ideally a single figure, rather than buying a pack of zombie survivors. Thought this the best board to ask on, as it's more likely that armed or unarmed civilians would fall under this topic.

Any help would be appreciated.

As usual, need to know scale…

Here is one 2-3/4in tall
auction

Another – no idea how big
auction

You have many options on eBay in PVC that you can convert – depending on the scale you are looking for.

I can dig what you're doing. You want a normal looking figure, bald, slight beer belly but realistically sculpted…I looked on the Hasslefree site, but nothing jumped out as being "Homer". Hmmm, maybe "Crooked Dice"…

As Homer would say "D'oh!" – 28mm. Stepman3 has it exactly right. Tubby bald guy in trousers and short sleeved shirt.

At least you didn't ask for a mini of Homer dragging "The Stone of Shame". :)
