If you know the game you know the data files can be easily edited. They can also be pasted into word and used as a OOB. I don't know where mine is – I had all the stats converted (strengths, ratings, weapons etc) Does anyone else have it? I don't think the game works on Windows 7, which means while I can access the file from the CD (I think) I can't check what all the number mean easily (by making fake saves) |

I have it. Could not get it to work on Windows 7. Tried MANY different ideas and web suggestions. None worked. You can order it someplace online in a new format I believe. |

Matrix games has a version that works on vista and I believe they have a version that works on windows 7. I still play it. I don't see any data files in the folder though. Albeit my skills in that area are completely lacking. I'd be happy to help but you would have to send me some really detailed instructions |

I'll have dig it out. Ive a feeling you can install, and that's how you get at the data. They appear as a series of text files. They are neat and readable, but you need to know the cypher, and in which order the stats appear, strength, morale weapon, etc all appear as numbers, 2 4 3 etc for each unit. But you need the key. I once transcribed it all (find/replace was so helpful) but I've lost the document. By making a save game with 1 unit, and adjusting the numbers I could see what number meant what, but I don't have that key any more. I was hoping someone else had also transcribed it. |

The stats for the Talonsoft game were taken directly from the old boardgame "Terrible Swift Sword" by SPI. |
