After 50+ hours of gameplay (still only 33% game profess though) I felt I had enough to compile a review of the new Witcher 3 game. Finally we get the open world awesomeness that does justice to the universe of the Witcher series, Geralt can now travel around the war torn countryside without being confined to small areas with loading screens in between. You can walk, ride your horse or sail across the entire map which rivals Skyrim in size but which in my opinion overshadows Skyrim in terms of immersion, style and quality. Check my blog for the full review and 61 pictures from my own gaming (beware, there might be some spoilers in what you see even though I tried to keep that to a minimum).: link

A very interesting review; thank you. Word of this game is starting to circulate around WoW, where players are increasingly bored and annoyed with the game direction. I think W3 may catch the wave of many of those players as they look around for something more engaging and deeper. |

Great game. I was blown away by the size of the city of Novigrad. I don't care for the Gwent mini-game, though. |

I can't tell you how many times I found myself admiring a view or watching the foilage blowing in the wind. It's hard to stay on task in that game. I'll agree about Gwent. Too much like Magic The Gathering for my taste. There are so many other fantastic things to be doing anyway. |

The game is a masterpiece and a variety of opium. Frame rate is a little poor on my PS4 at times, but I can live with it. F Gwent! |

Unless you are a very experience Witcher player I would nto recommend starting with the 2nd to hardest setting. Because you are going to die and die and die. |
