Hoping you knowledgeable guys can help (especially with photos!). What sort of rockets were used by Fleet Air Arm Avengers and Wildcats? Did they carry British type rocket rails or Zero-length launchers. Also did Sea Hurricanes ever use batteries of eight rockets – I am aware of the local modifications on HMS Vindex. Yes, they proved to be quite good at penetrating U Boat pressure hulls |

The ones on the Beaufighters (based upon a model I've seen), seem to have rails for them. |
