fir post in quite a while. Getting the house ready to sell really hindered my gaming and consequently my blog posting. anyway, played my first game of Muskets and Tomahawks at a friends house last Friday. a bit of an AAR and a few thoughts on the rules. and, of course, pics link Cheers! |

Although it might not seem like it at first glance, I think you were playing with too much open terrain on your table. Playing with more cover really takes the sting out of the firing lines, since they are severely restricted in where they can maneuver and you have more places to hide from the flying lead. |

lol, most of the open areas were actually light cover. only the corner with the settlement and inside the Indian village were open. |
