I have spent the last 6 weeks or more completely redesigning the whole Early War Miniatures trade space. I took some work in progress pictures and then a few at the show this Sunday at Broadside, its first outing.

link Although its not finished yet, I'm still working on some of the racks and a new illuminated product display case. Some WIP shots before the show.

link The concept is an 18 foot long series of self service, self look, trade racks. The whole idea is to present in chronological order, some of our growing product ranges starting with WW1 through the interwar to the early and late WW2 periods.
link Starting on the left side with the first 3 racks under the "great war" heading are 1914 French, US and Mexican forces for the revolution and US invasions. Moving to German 1916 and Turkish 1914 onwards. Rack 3 is British from 1914 to 1918 including Middle east 1915 and Arabs, Australians and Indian troops.
link Rack 4 is British Interwar and the first of the Blitzkrieg years British army trade racks, 2 in total including some of our Norwegian ranges as well. Next are 2 racks of the French, the Polish and then 2 racks of German and Italian Blitzkrieg years products.
link The Belgian and Dutch armies cover the last of the Blitzkrieg years products and then I have built an entire stand for all our accessories packs and other small fixed defences and equipments.
1 whole rack is dedicated to the early war in the Pacific with our vast range of Japs, the Dutch KNIL and growing US army ranges. Finally all our products for 1943 and onwards can be found.
These racks are all linked, have clearly illustrated "sections" for tanks, artillery, Infantry, support weapons, AA guns, ATG's etc etc.

link We mounted all our flexible roads and tracks on a new spinning display with loads of samples so people can look at closely and feel the goods. All our trench and plastic defence models remain on a big triangle display with Peter's wonderful "hit markers".
Im about 65% of the way through this huge project. That's why our new product release rate has dropped off a bit recently, now you know what I've been up to!
Peter Day who works with me also does a fine range in military books which also features as part of our new look, trade display.
link More pictures of the WIP and stand can be seen on our EWM FB site at
link I've still got loads more to do to get it where I finally want it to be, but it's a great start. Feed back from customers at Broadside was really encouraging. Do drop in and let me know your thoughts at shows. Hope to see some of you at Bovi in a few weeks time perhaps.
