If anyone's interested, I'll be running two games in Pembrokeshire over the coming week. The first will be a single-day (truncated scenario) public display game at Narberth Museum on the anniversary day – Thursday 18th June:

narberthmuseum.co.uk

The second game will be a 'full-fat' scenario played over two days (Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st) at the Wargames Association of South Pembrokeshire in Pembroke Dock.

All are welcome – more the merrier (except Supercilius Maximus, obviously – my standards might be low, but they're not that low…)!

Rules to be used are Avalon Hill's 'Napoleon's Battles' (1st Ed with some mods), where a unit represents a brigade. Don't worry if you've never played them.

There's a thread showing the more recently-painted bits of the game here: TMP link

The game is taking shape at Narberth Museum. It still needs trees and a fair bit of tidying up, but it's looking good so far (sorry for the poor photos – taken on my phone in low light):

The 'Official' Battle of Waterloo 200th Anniversary Game kicks off tomorrow (Thursday 18th June) at 10am and finishes at 5pm. Come and have a look if you're anywhere west of The Bridge.

The 'Unofficial' game takes place at the weekend and will be fought over two days.

Hope it all went well and all had fun.

It did indeed!

We even got invited onto the One Show, but I had to turn Alex Jones down (again…)

Now sorting through 200+ photos from the two games…

This certainly deserves a 'wow'!

I like your hills and fields, what material did you use to make them? Can you get it in green, similar to the rest of the table?

Table looks fabulous. Hanging out for the AAR with photos.

Cheers chaps!

The cornfields are teddy bear fur – I simply bought it from the local fabric & wool shop for £7.50 GBP per metre. I used two metres of fabric for what you can see (should have bought 3 or 4 metres). Yes, you can get it in green and I did want some green fur for hayfields and unripe corn, though they didn't have it in stock and I left it too late. I could have got dark brown, black, white, yellow, purple or pink, however…
