Winston Smith | 14 Jun 2015 4:34 p.m. PST |
I intend to do so. |
Coyotepunc and Hatshepsuut | 14 Jun 2015 4:37 p.m. PST |
Yes yes YES! This, this is what adding to the general confusion is all about! Finally, someone gets it! |
14Bore | 14 Jun 2015 4:41 p.m. PST |
All's fair in love and war, and this is all about war isn't it? |
Sundance | 14 Jun 2015 4:48 p.m. PST |
One of your all time best, Winston! |

To quote Sir Humphrey Appleby, "You can't stab them in the back if don't get behind them first." |

As long as you support it, even if you turn it off, others will benefit from your support. Seems like a win/win! |

Just like electing somebody to Congress just so you can get them out of your state ~,~ |

How did you manage to post something with such a long title? Are you sure you are not Dear Editor's Chief Bill? |
Coelacanth | 14 Jun 2015 8:59 p.m. PST |
Ever hear of crossposting? Ron |
Winston Smith | 14 Jun 2015 10:18 p.m. PST |
How did you manage to post something with such a long title? I must be just right under the limit. It took me a few tries. |
Martin Rapier | 14 Jun 2015 11:11 p.m. PST |
It seems a perfectly sensible reason to support a new board to me. Perfidious Albion eh? |
Doms Decals | 15 Jun 2015 2:36 a.m. PST |
Hell yes – eminently sensible. |
Feet up now | 15 Jun 2015 7:01 a.m. PST |
Yes I will support the "Ethical support Board" |
Texas Jack | 15 Jun 2015 10:43 a.m. PST |
Sure, I plan on doing it too. |
14Bore | 15 Jun 2015 12:08 p.m. PST |
I guess by voting for it you will see it coming a mile away so you can stay clear. Makes sense to me. |
Dasher | 17 Jun 2015 12:00 a.m. PST |
Not sure I understand why someone would support something they dislike…? |
Doms Decals | 17 Jun 2015 2:40 a.m. PST |
Well let's pick an entirely hypothetical example. Let's say you like the science board, but feel it's ruined by the occasional climate change shouting matches where everybody has their own version of the "facts" so no actual dialogue occurs. You might choose to support a climate change board so you can switch it off and get back to enjoying the science board in peace…. ;-) |
Texas Jack | 17 Jun 2015 8:21 a.m. PST |
Dom that is an excellent, completely hypothetical example. |
Winston Smith | 17 Jun 2015 9:20 a.m. PST |
Why didn't I think of that ? |
