Yes yes YES! This, this is what adding to the general confusion is all about!

Finally, someone gets it!

All's fair in love and war, and this is all about war isn't it?

One of your all time best, Winston!

To quote Sir Humphrey Appleby, "You can't stab them in the back if don't get behind them first."

Cosmic Reset14 Jun 2015 6:02 p.m. PST

I believe so.

Cyrus the Great14 Jun 2015 6:08 p.m. PST

As long as you support it, even if you turn it off, others will benefit from your support. Seems like a win/win!

Mute Bystander14 Jun 2015 6:14 p.m. PST

Do it all the time.

Just like electing somebody to Congress just so you can get them out of your state ~,~

How did you manage to post something with such a long title?

Are you sure you are not Dear Editor's Chief Bill?

Coelacanth14 Jun 2015 8:59 p.m. PST

Ever hear of crossposting?

I must be just right under the limit. It took me a few tries.

Martin Rapier14 Jun 2015 11:11 p.m. PST

It seems a perfectly sensible reason to support a new board to me. Perfidious Albion eh?

Hell yes – eminently sensible.

Yes I will support the "Ethical support Board"

Texas Jack15 Jun 2015 10:43 a.m. PST

Sure, I plan on doing it too.

14Bore15 Jun 2015 12:08 p.m. PST

I guess by voting for it you will see it coming a mile away so you can stay clear. Makes sense to me.

Dasher17 Jun 2015 12:00 a.m. PST

Not sure I understand why someone would support something they dislike…?

Well let's pick an entirely hypothetical example. Let's say you like the science board, but feel it's ruined by the occasional climate change shouting matches where everybody has their own version of the "facts" so no actual dialogue occurs. You might choose to support a climate change board so you can switch it off and get back to enjoying the science board in peace…. ;-)

Texas Jack17 Jun 2015 8:21 a.m. PST

Dom that is an excellent, completely hypothetical example. thumbs up

Winston Smith17 Jun 2015 9:20 a.m. PST

Why didn't I think of that ?
