Are you more of an indoor person, or an outdoor person?

Disco Joe14 Jun 2015 12:18 p.m. PST

Definitely an indoor person.

Good question

I would have said indoor on instinct but I do love to hike and bike as well

So I would say I like both but indoor more

I used to be an outdoor person not sure I could say so any more age gets to you.

Depends on the rain.

Depends on weather

King Monkey14 Jun 2015 1:15 p.m. PST

Outdoor for work, indoor the rest of the time.

Cosmic Reset14 Jun 2015 2:32 p.m. PST

Indoor in hot weather, outdoor in cold weather.

Great War Ace14 Jun 2015 2:36 p.m. PST

Always been an indoor person. But I like to get outside part of each day, bike rides, walks, even some yard work (a little), that sort of thing. I don't like getting rained on, I have this thing about specks of water on my glasses. And I dislike too hot or too cold. No outdoorsman here….

Cerdic14 Jun 2015 2:38 p.m. PST

Outdoor….

whitphoto14 Jun 2015 2:51 p.m. PST

Yes. Part of being a dork is loads of indoor activities but my father taught me a great appreciation of nature.

Hlaven14 Jun 2015 4:20 p.m. PST

More indoor now. 65 years gets to some of us more than others. Sure do love the outdoors in the Spring and Fall. Thank the heavens above I could finally afford air conditioning.

skippy000114 Jun 2015 4:54 p.m. PST

Indoor, basement apartment number G2 so my friends and family call my domicile-Da Bunker.

Besides, there's too much oxygen out there, bugs and creepy-crawlies everywhere, everything is sooo GREEN, no place for my microwave or my comfy chair.

And the squirrels are not what they seem….

Depends on the weather but I'ld say a 50/50 split. Work is about even and the door is open most of the year. Free time is spent out doors or inside painting and on the web. Activeties change with the seasons.

Mute Bystander14 Jun 2015 5:44 p.m. PST

I live in Saint Louis.

Summer indoor (and even there the primer weather is "iffy" sometimes.) 90+ degrees Heat and 90+% Humidity is a "mild" summer day.

Spring, all ten days of it… cumulative… outdoor, bring primer (and mosquito repellent.) Otherwise see Summer and Winter.

Fall, outdoors when the rain and wind are reasonable. Primer subject to changing winds. Indoors when not.

Winter is indoors – too cold for primer (and/or too wet and/or too windy.)

tulsatime14 Jun 2015 5:56 p.m. PST

Big yellow face in sky hurts my precious.

galvinm14 Jun 2015 6:47 p.m. PST

Definitely outdoor.

Would rather be camping, fishing, and hunting than staying in the house playing games, watching TV, or on an electronic device.

My kids say I was born a couple of hundred years too late. That I would have no problem living without electricity, modern conveniences, etc.

Pictors Studio14 Jun 2015 7:14 p.m. PST

Indoor. The weather never bothers me unless I have to go out in it.

Rod I Robertson14 Jun 2015 7:30 p.m. PST

Moving from outdoors to indoors to no doors but brass handles as I age and eventually die!
Cheers? and good gaming.

I've worked indoors, mostly in basement offices where they stick the technical staff all my working life.

I'm an ex-pat in the Twin Cities. I dislike the summer too hot and humid although I still reenact in even more unpleasant climates like the South. I'm forced outside most days to do some yard work.

Spring – wat dat? 10 days tops.

Fall – raking bloody leaves, hours on end.

Winder, yes I'll go outside – skiing yipee! If it's lower than -20F/-20C I'll even do up my coat.

Henry Martini14 Jun 2015 9:10 p.m. PST

We're blessed with a marvellous Mediterranean climate here in South Australia; even in Winter there's a high percentage of sunny days, and it never really gets cold by European or North American standards (I comfortably manage without a heater at home) – so it would be perverse not to get out and enjoy it. Hence my weekends in the cooler months are often occupied bushwalking (about six and a half hours worth yesterday), and Summer presents warm days and nights ideal for outdoor live music, cinema, and other arts events.

I'm not much of a swimmer, so unlike the majority of the population I don't gravitate to the beach in hot weather – even when the daytime max is well over 40 degrees (celsius).

Meiczyslaw14 Jun 2015 9:20 p.m. PST

Here's where I"m supposed to link to the San Diego surf report.

I have turned into more of an outdoor type recently — so much so that my doctor actually told me to paint more minis so that I'd slow down and stop stressing myself with too-full days. (You think I'm kidding …)

CeruLucifus14 Jun 2015 9:36 p.m. PST

Indoor. Try to make myself go outside regularly but not always successful.

wrgmr114 Jun 2015 9:59 p.m. PST

Outdoor in the summer….I live in Canada

Cyrus the Great14 Jun 2015 11:17 p.m. PST

Medications and age conspire to keep me indoors, like a day bound vampire.

OSchmidt15 Jun 2015 4:38 a.m. PST

I am an outdoor indoor person.

My living room is 16' 32' peaking to a 18' peak on the long edge, The three walls (2 short 1 long) are all glass floor to ceiling , windows, no walls between. Here I live most of the time, do my painting, gaming, reading, and modeling. However even at 66 I still split wood and do home repairs and maintain the wood pile.

Old Slow Trot15 Jun 2015 7:10 a.m. PST

About 50/50.

I love yardwork (EDIT: and the rare camping opportunity!) and we have season soccer and amusement park tickets this summer. Plus I do my priming and sealing mostly with spray paints, so that is an outdoor activity. I also walk 1/2 mile to/from public transport to/from work four days a week or so (also for soccer games). SWMBO and I have taken to sitting on the front porch in the new house.

Weasel15 Jun 2015 9:54 a.m. PST

Somewhere in the middle.
I love hiking but I love reading in an air-conditioned room more :)

Garand15 Jun 2015 10:07 a.m. PST

Indoor person. The outside is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Personally, I enjoy nature more when it is through my windowpane… :)

Damon.

I like 'em both.

Cardinal Ximenez15 Jun 2015 1:34 p.m. PST

Outdoor

COL Scott ret16 Jun 2015 5:58 a.m. PST

Yes to both.

But that being said I just got back from a week of hiking, climbing, canoeing, and low impact camping in Red River Gorge KY with 20 boys. I also work outside about 50% of my shift. So while I like many indoor activities (reading, wargaming, movies etc) I Think God did a better job than any other builder.

Stepman317 Jun 2015 5:44 a.m. PST

Hate the heat…but mostly an outdoor person.

Martin Rapier18 Jun 2015 6:03 a.m. PST

I work in an office, but I like to be outside as much as possible. I have fairly active hobbies (apart from painting toy soldiers) and enjoy walking, running and camping even at somewhat unseasonable times of year.
